Began in PurpleA Poem by Elyse8FrancescaIt started in December Cyclic but unadjusted My veins began to freeze Mostly undetectable, I abhorred it He almost thawed them It really is not so bad I have long lost my temper I became accustom to the frame Channelling emotion through borders Four corners, Siberian Fir The bark became stone Fragmentations broke off and began to circulate
They began noticing a transition Delayed like warmth from the sun Doomed as a deer in the eye of a wolf I resisted aid but my body resisted me The menders blame the terrain Another attempt was made I wept as they fled Into the valley they ran, without woes The rotting deer went unnoticed Where has my innocence fled? I was found by the riverbed, With earth cascaded into my rib © 2017 Elyse8Francesca |
