Began in Purple

Began in Purple

A Poem by Elyse8Francesca

It started in December
Began in Purple, Ended in Blue

 Cyclic but unadjusted

My veins began to freeze
I walked to the looking glass

Mostly undetectable, I abhorred it

He almost thawed them
Arabian nights in Tehran
Frost collected on his cloth, he fled

It really is not so bad
I overheat faster than silver

I have long lost my temper

I became accustom to the frame

Channelling emotion through borders

 Four corners, Siberian Fir

The bark became stone
Brisk streams molded its edges

Fragmentations broke off and began to circulate

They began noticing a transition

Delayed like warmth from the sun

Doomed as a deer in the eye of a wolf

I resisted aid but my body resisted me

The menders blame the terrain
I blame the menders

Another attempt was made
Aryan girls in Holland swooning
Their innocence distorts me,

I wept as they fled

Into the valley they ran, without woes

The rotting deer went unnoticed

Where has my innocence fled?

I was found by the riverbed,

With earth cascaded into my rib
Purple at the fingertips, blue at the joints
