Drip, Drop,

Drip, Drop,

A Poem by Emma Lyn
"

This is a poem I wrote for a contest in sixth grade that I think is pretty good. It was one of the three poems that got selected out of the eighty students in my grade to move on to the county level.

"

Drip, Drop,

The faucets on

Turn it off,

Don't you know that its wrong?

Wasting water,

Wasting trees,

Killing homes for birds and bees

Turn off the lights when your not in the room,

or the forest will be in an angry fume.

Drip, Drop,

The faucets on

Turn it off,

Don't you know that its wrong?

To pretend that this isn't going on.

Drip,Drop,
