Sonnet #1

Sonnet #1

A Poem by Wren
"

I have been focused on writing sonnets, but none of them have titles. So here is Sonnet #1.

"

As the night comes to an untimely end

I cut away the webs in which you wove

For me. But I must be off now to tend

Those gentle flowers that wait in sacred grove.

I waited here with you for much to long

And let the dreams you gave me take their hold.

I can no longer sing your sweet love song

As my souls beating heart starts to unfold.

My flowers long for my sweet caring in

That garden in which I first began to bloom

So I leave you now my sweet, my love, my sin

Hoping you will find your happiness soon.

For I belong in gardens sweet and bright

Out of love, out of mind, and out of sight.

Amazing! Positively amazing! Maybe you could read mine? But I'm not sure I deserve your undivided brilliance

I'm a girl who believes that out of sadness blooms beauty. As morbid as that seems, I apparently only write well when sadness overwhelms me. Only in pictures painted by words am I ever able to express.. more..
