What's that sound coming from the White House?

The Laughing Leader

By Elton Camp

For the last few months in the White House

Things haven’t been “quieter than a mouse”

Goings on, for the president, are hard to beat

You can hear him laughing out to the street

“Those clowns think they’ll turn me out.

But of that I have the greatest of doubt.”

“I need only sit back here and just relax

While they give each other fatal whacks.”

“So many millions they are having to spend

They’ll be broke ere the campaign will begin.”

“I’ll have no need, at them, to throw any dirt.

For each other they have already badly hurt.”

“Mitt a religious fanatic I won’t need to call

For the public has already heard of it all.”

“About Newt I don’t have to hint at adultery.

For it’s been in the news for the country to see.”

“Perry can’t remember what he want to say.

Nobody wants a president who’s that way.”

“The Christmas presents they’ve give me

Let me laugh, snort & smile with glee.”
