What I Saw on the Way to Work

By Elton Camp

Approaching my office, I hear a weird sound

The whine came from the sky, not the ground

And then to myself, I very confidently said

It has to be some airplane passing overhead

People began to scream, “Quick, look up there!”

I did and the sight gave me a most terrible scare

The huge object was circular and metallic gray

I shook in great fear & didn’t know what to say

It was motionless, yet remained high in the air

My pupils widened and on end stood my hair

The dim letters XAOH made no sense to me

I could only ponder what the meaning could be

A thing like this is supposed to appear at night

But here it was with the sky so blue and bright

If I tell seeing it, the report would be called a lie

So I decided to give my cell phone camera a try

So sooner had I saved the image to a microchip

Than with a whoosh, the UFO away did slip

But I had absolute proof safely stored away

To support the truth of everything that I say
