Burning the Competition

By Elton Camp

Good business ideas sometime travel fast

A sure-fire way to increase sales at last

Dominoes Pizza showed us the best way

By how they handled Papa John today

In a Florida town the size of Lake City

Too many pizzerias sure seemed a pity

They decided of pizza they’d sell more

With one less restaurant than before

Though some called the idea so lame,

They sent the competitor up in flame

Other businesses saw what they’d done

Decided it was how customers are won

Lowe’s set the torch to Home Depot

So over there customers couldn’t go

Rite Aid figured that for bad Walgreen

It was time for some flames to be seen

McDonald’s to competing Burger King

Decided that some gasoline they’d fling

Then it was the manager at Wells Fargo

Who decided Regions Bank had to go

The owner of the Usury Payday Loan

Used the trick to get his competitor gone

They all decided there was no better way

To get ahead in the bad economy of today

ONE OF THE ABOVE IS TRUE.  WHICH?
