I Hear That What’s His Name is Dead

By Elton Camp

Some praise him and others say he’s a sap

As for me, I can barely find Libya on a map

Who being described it’s a bit hard to tell

Its leader’s name, it seems, nobody can spell

Gaddafi, Kadafi, Qaddafi, Gathafi & many more

Seldom is it spelled like the one I read before

So maybe it would be best his first name to use

Moamar, Mu’ammar, Mommar"many to choose

The “Al-Gaddafi Prize for Human Rights” is weird

Is this the same man that millions have rightly feared?

With all this confusion, as to death how can they know

Perhaps his ID even some other name may well show

But if the Libyan strongman has truly passed away

Maybe history will settle his name’s spelling some day
