I Am Tired of Being PC

By Elton Camp

Have we no longer got a right to speak plain

For fear somebody will whine and complain

A contender for president we can’t call fat

He is, so what can really be wrong with that

Another, since she’s a female, we can’t say

You’re too stupid to be president anyway

And too the person who has a turnip’s IQ

To call “retarded” just simply won’t do

And anyone confined to use a wheelchair

To say is “crippled” we just don’t dare

Why must I give praise to an odious brat

When he actually looks like some sick rat

The black who blames his failures on race

Can’t be called on, the actual truth to face

Man, you’re a loser and always have been

Because your’re dumb, not due to your skin

Even when commenting on a poetry site

To say a poem is rubbish is called spite

Even if the writer is barely semiliterate

Say it and others will have an angry fit

We can no longer call things what they are

For to speak the truth is going way too far
