Vicious Attacks in the Guise of HumorA Poem by Elton Camp'Tain't Funny, McGeeVicious Attacks in the Guise of Humor By Elton Camp “Where’s your sense of humor? I was just joking.” This comes from a man that I’d like to be choking People who get a laugh at someone else’s expense Makes me wish that either I, or they, were far hence Because such teasing comes from family or “friend,” The outraged victim is not supposed himself to defend The truly clueless continue such foolish talk to relate After being seriously warned, “That I don’t appreciate.” Those comments that one’s appearance or traits ridicule Really show that the speaker is mostly an ignorant mule Personally, I have decided that I will not take it anymore “Don’t talk to me like that, you idiot. I’ve told you before.”
