Pass the LootA Poem by Elton CampShow God how much you care.Pass the Loot By Elton Camp He says that in God’s name he is your friend The elegant TV preacher with rapturous grin He holds a fancy cloth over which he prayed He wants you to have it, but only if he’s paid Just rub it over any place where you feel sick And the illness will surely vanish that quick Your “love gift” must be at least fifty dollars Else you have no faith, the preacher hollers Your contribution is needed to stay on the air Send it in and show God how much you care If you don’t respond then your faith is weak Certainly not the kind God will bless or seek
