Your poem annoys me.

I Don’t Like What You Wrote

By Elton Camp

A poet can’t expect to get very far

If he dares tells things like they are

It is not a very welcome surprise

When others themselves recognize

“Your words aren’t worth a damn.

Because they show just how I am.

What you have said I cannot deny

And to do different I won’t even try

So please expect no change from me.

Don’t write it out. I don’t want to see.”
