Advice to Husbands

By Elton Camp

If with a wife you do reside

To this rule you must abide

To whatever she should say

Answer can be just one way

If you’d avoid many a pointless spat:

“Yes M’am, your’re right about that.”

Keep your life of friction free

You must never, ever disagree

To get your way, no need to try

“Yes M’am,” is the best reply

And it’s not only the word  you say

It must be said in just a certain way
