no matter how hard you try...you just can't escape...

 

 

“ANXIETY drags you down into the abyss,

Leaving you LOST and OBLIVIOUS

 

 

Transforming you into a mannequin of SILENCE,

Creating an alliance

 

 

You CRINGE in the labyrinth,

Searching for the right

Hoping,

BESEECHING,

But you never find the light

 

 

Amongst the DARKNESS

The thoughts intertwine,

Creating an INESCAPABLE STATE OF MIND…”

Wow, this was a really dark write! I really loved your choice of words in this poem, and thought that the way you formatted it (with the different coloured words in capital letters) made this piece all the more effective and powerful. You did a great job in describing the scene, and I thought that your metaphor for the mind was really creative. A great write! :D
