How Many Poems Would I have to Write to Say

How Many Poems Would I have to Write to Say

A Poem by Eloha

Line in, Line out

Here is a prayer for you on white

Sheets of lyrics, flowing like silence

Following some universal script

Of all that can be known of

Beauty or truth, oneness or separation

Line in, line out

These are the words, salient and pure

That never escaped my lips

Because I’ve written poems for you

To describe your mysterious bloom

Love letters, experiments in progress

Metaphors and the fragrances stuck forever

In the hearts of living things that crave

Connection, light, poetry.
