Parenthesis Eternal

Parenthesis Eternal

A Poem by Eloha

Every moment the garden is restored

The treasures replaced, the flowers in bloom

None of them will know each other

All of them so dreaming strange

All the fragrances and paintings

Will be cloistered forever, coming again

The beauty and the fiercest truth

From this world to the next

From life to life, songs break open

Unheard-of-paths, everything loves

Like an impossible map, to the garden

Of everywhere, each one’s talent

Sweet to the forest with blindfolded eyes

Like the sleep walking women of the city

The sluggish swans, the hundred blossoms.

Your poem reads like a buffet of delight by a young man whose persistence of the issues draws the admiration of society. It speaks of archetype experiences of youth, loving at times and at other moments, sombre and rejecting of advances by the interests you may perceive. Patience, young man, is a rich rewarder.

Dear Eloha,

This poem has such exquisite diction and takes me away to my hope and thought of heaven. The words remind me of dreams especially,t his line, "The beauty and fiercest truth," which reminds me of the scripture that says in Isiah 40:8 "Flower may whiter away, but the Word of God endures forever." In the hope for eternity cradles the essence of everlasting beauty and truth. Then I continue to think this way when you say, "From this world to the next." I also adore this line, "From life to life, songs break open," because melody is just one of those treasures very valuable.

I can't imagine such beauty in this world, but perhaps, I am lacking in patience. Perhaps, this is the perception of noticing a long overlooked beauty on this plane. I have to question in such a beautiful poem, you used the word "sluggish" to characterize the swans. It seems kind of random in concurrence with "the hundred blossoms," but that's my opinion.

Thanks for sharing.

Sincerely Victorious

God bless

Great Max, I'll be sure to post more then!
amazing imagery in this poem. All the parts blending, yet each part unaware of the other. I never thought of life that way- I'm all about the connections we have. But you have given me something to think about. Well done.
