Beyond the Garden of Us

Beyond the garden of us, where wildflowers grew,

We wander through realms painted in morning’s dew.

Our roots, once anchored, now stretch and spread,

Tracing paths where even the stars dare to tread.

We step beyond borders, no walls in sight,

Hand in hand through the vast, tender night.

Each heartbeat an echo, steady and true,

Through valleys unknown, as dreams break through.

The starlight guides us, unwavering and clear,

Casting a glow as I hold you near.

In the boundless wild, our love lights the way,

Two flames intertwined, keeping shadows at bay.

No longer confined by our garden walls,

We carry its blooms as the universe calls.

Wherever we journey, its blossoms will grow,

Sowing our love where new wild rivers flow.

Let the winds rise and the rivers run wide,

For love like ours won’t ever subside.

Though we wander far from the fields we knew,

The garden of us will always renew.

It's early dusk here,
all's cool 'n clear.
Cricket songs sawing,
lovelight is drawing
old moon to our skies,
a'sparkle in your eyes.

Dare, what do we ask
than in-love to bask?
Oh, I think we know
far more will grow
in this garden of us.

Ahhh, Elnnes, you've got me waxing poetically; but, doesn't well-struck, romantically deep, scintillating poetry have this wondrous effect on the hearts, minds, and souls of poetesses and poets whose dreams and imagination aspire to have it all?

Who, though, could say it all as eloquently beautiful and enchantingly as do the vibrantly laid vivid emotions and desires flowing from the depths of your enthralling, stardust imbued ink? A question I'm thinking I may never be able to answer.

Beautifully rendered, Dear Elnnes, in every way a love poem could possibly be.
If you keep this agricultural romance going, I'm gonna have to study-up on passion, arousal, and ardor growing. 😉
