>The Road Made for One<

Another poem I wrote (: It describes how sometimes it's nice to getaway by yourself and enjoy the little things that make you happy.

Down this road made for one
I walk alone, breathing the air
If all our words could be undone
But a deed I would not dare
Memories are too precious, too rare.
 
Down this road in the warming sun
My lips move with no sound
On a road built for one
A melody can still abound
From even the trees this feeling can rebound.
 
Suddenly it's easier to walk, and run
My body feels light, like a soft cloud
Feet that used to feel the weight of a ton
No longer hide in the shadows that would shroud
Because it's just me, it's okay to me a little loud!
 
So sing your song, play your melody
With a smile upon your face
This tune could become so heavenly
Moving with the finest grace
I feel weightless here in this place,
 
I'll stay a while more and have some fun,
On this little road, made for one.
