>My Heartless Requiem<

Another of my darker writes lol. I think at one point i had a tune for this one. But it's one of those that could go either way between poem and song.

Everything you say
All those little things
What I cannot tell you
How these feelings are...
Tearing apart my empty heart
Forever in these shadows
Im drowning in this pain
I hear you call my name
But your words aren't the same
They fall on deaf ears...
Shrouded by lies,
Deaths clever disguise..
This poison upon my lips
A fate sealed with a kiss
The bitterness is inescapable..
Send me away into this darkness,
My Heartless Requiem.

 

So faithless inside
I can't feel warmth
I can no longer stand at your side
I'm falling into this empty world
My heart is lost and I am forsaken
Your voice so far away
Reaching for something that I cannot grasp
I can only remember the last time
The look in your eyes
The words on your lips...
Send me away,
Do not ask me to stay
For the future you speak of...
Is a dagger to my soul
Do you understand, our definitions
Are opposites that do not attract
Cannot be mended,
All of the actions pretended...
Giving in to the hatred,
My Heartless Requiem.

 

The true tears I cry,
Have been only for you
How can you understand
The meaning of the words upon my lips
Forever, can't be in two different worlds
Deserving nothing, needing nothing
Friendship and lies,
Just another guise.
My self needs something more
Than the knocking on a door..
Emptyness and no regrets
What you say in kindness..
Send me into blindness
A dagger through the heart..
Understanding has fallen apart.
Giving in is only the begining..
Hopeless and forgotten,
My Heartless Requiem.
