He said, She saidA Poem by EllyLove poem. The door's open, she said.
I'll close it, he said.
Water's boiling over, she said.
I'll put the pan in the sink, he said.
Stop being perfect, she said.
I'm not perfect, he said.
Why must you contradict me? she asked.
I'm not, he said.
Yes, she said.
No, just telling the truth, he said.
Tell me you love me, she said.
I love you, he said.
No you don't, she said.
Yes I do, he said.
Prove it, she said.
Fine, I will, he said.
He leaned towards her, her rose red lips parted slightly, and kissed her passionately.
Lips lie, she whispered, breathless.
He smiled, Yes my love.
He kissed her again. © 2010 Elly |
