perfect?

to be imperfect..
it's the perfect way to be.
it shows that we are human
have the ability to sin.
for without imperfection,
life would be a bore.
everything would be the same.
everyone would be the same.

if there was no imperfection,
then there would not exist
the amazing personalities
that exist now.
if there was no imperfection,
i would not be here.
i would not survive long
in a world where it is a
requirement to be
absolutey perfect.

i know very well,
and i have come to accept
(through hard times,
through times of mild
depression)
that i am imprefect.
but,
i have also learned
that because of my
imperfection..
i am loved.

for my little
imperfections,
i am loved by someone.
and someday,
for those same
imperfections,
someone will love me.
i don't know when.
nor do i know who.
but,
i do know that
it will happen.. someday.

but,
until then,
i will live my imperfect
life with a contentness
that keeps me at peace
until that one person
comes into my life
and decides that my
imperfections are their eyes
perfections.
