I Want That

this poem explores the yearning for intimacy, the joy of shared moments, and the enduring bond between soulmates.

I want that spark, that endless glow,
The need for you only grows.
Even in heat, I pull you near,
Your skin's allure, your taste so dear
No kiss enough to quench my thirst,
For every touch feels like the first.

I dream of moments yet to be,
When your deep gaze speaks words to me.
A stolen stare, the world turns bare,
We’re lost in love, just breathing air.
That fiery rush when we get home,
Clothes cast aside, desires roam.

I crave that night, that burning kiss,
When nothing feels as sweet as this.
The robe falls softly, skin to skin,
Your warmth, the fire you ignite within.
Your hands, your eyes, they light my soul,
You’re the only one who makes me whole.

I long for days when vows are made,
When love’s true song will never fade.
Our bodies, minds, and spirits blend,
Two hearts as one, a love that mends.
Through life’s great journey, hand in hand,
Together we will always stand.

A flame that burns so deep inside,
Even in fights, we can't divide.
An eternal fire, clear to see,
You and me are meant to be.
A flame that sparks others' desire,
Silently teaching love's true fire.
So bright, it leaves a legacy,
A timeless mark for all to see.
I want that.
