My Place

A poem about going back to a place that I always considered my spiritual home.

A Place of Heart

A Place of soul and solace,

A Place of life and knowledge,

A Place where love was found and lost.

A Place where dreams ride on summer winds

And endless tides beat out time's seconds.

A Place greater than all within,

A Place that holds the utter part of me,

Though I be away, enraged

And doomed to die on Godless soil.
