Part of Me

My first poem. Corny as hell, but you know who you are.

A Part of Me.

Seven days is all I need

To see everything I need to see

Sit down, and drop a few days

Put them aside 

For you and me

I'm a freak

I'll always be

So I'll show you this weird Part of Me

Buried hopelessly in all my thought debris

My love ain't something you get for free

I'm many things:

Dark and mean

Angry and violent

Swearing and obscene

But I'm nothing without

You

Are many things:

Light against a black backdrop

A candle in the dark

But mostly you're just

A Part of Me.

HAHAHA! I even tagged it as romance! This is my first poem EVER so don't be a jerk. Dedicated to Audible Gasp cause I'm quite the romantic. *holds random rose in mouth* Aggie: actually, you're more like the stupid bug about to be killed by fire. (No, I'm not the fire in this analogy. The fire is, metaphorically, a cat). But you're awesome anyways.
