The Land stoneA Poem by Unity WritesInspired by the Land stone atop Beacon Hill.
On the hilltop a standing stone compassed the land
with a golden clock cog generating the hand Its white washed rock faces and soft cornering cast out from the view all of its offerings The purple from flowers lie calmly and soft fed sunlight in times when the hand move across And the water that stills on the tilt sided bows release rivers of juice when its calendar flows In the circle that middles the ticks and the stream carves the shape of the sun as it filters the beam In the shadow of blue where the moon makes its burst it would stop at the crescent. and reverse On the hilltop a standing stone compassed the land with a golden clock cog generating the hand © 2016 Unity WritesAuthor's Note
