This is sweeeet!
I enjoyed so much to read this. this is simple yes in wording but inspiring in message, flow, and execution from beginning to end. I want to compare you to a writer, and before anyone implies this to be insulting when I reference a children's author allow me to give my context.
In my childhood up to about the age of eight I never cared much for reading, writing, and most importantly poetry. then came a day in school we were taken into the library for a reading which was normal... however that which was read at least to me was not and never will be less then genius.
It was Shel Silverstien's " Where the side walk ends ". Simply put his original subjects of writing in the sense of what I saw as unconventional blew my mind and his flow to me was masterful. It was like the first time someone had said "hey, you... this is your soul" I dare say you share his gift to make that level of impact on people with works like this.
I mean to convey my absolute love of this piece, and your ability to stoke such great ideals and feelings in people as my inspiration did me. His writings some might describe as child's play but I say a poem about a girl who couldn't be found because her messy room enveloped her written with great flow and even moral of the story aspect being quite creative.
I hope none of this to be mistaken as anything less than heart felt admiration for the beauty of this piece.
oh fun. I usually write free verse, not much structure there. I don't think it matters all too much whether you're structured or not. But if you say you're going to write a structured poem, follow the structure of course ;)
I like this a lot they really do have the true meaning of, other opinions from others. I thank you for sharing this read request with me. You have such a talent with words, you should do poetry some more.
