Ours.

Ours.

A Poem by oh,hey.

The memory I will cherish,

The one that pulled me through,

The one that will forever,

Keep me thinking about you.

No tears came from my eyes,

No sadness from my heart,

With this memory so strong,

We will never be kept apart.

We were standing, just talking,

Somewhere, well I don’t know,

But the laugh we laughed so loudly,

Follows me wherever I go.

We cackled a witchy cackle,

For no reason like we do,

I laugh we laughed we always did

And then I feel close to you.

To some I might seem selfish,

To laugh instead of cry,

To some I might seem heartless,

Because I refused to say good bye.

But I laugh because it’s yours,

I laugh because it’s ours,

I laugh because I know you're there,

When I look up at the stars.

This is beautifully done. If you are able to celebrate someones life after they pass it kinder to the soul. Many may not understand your grieving process but that doesn't matter for each person mourns in their own way. I think the is a great way to remember someone. Their laughter echoing through time and space forever warming your heart after they are long gone.

"To some I might seem heartless - Because I refused to say goodbye..."

No... I don't think it's heartless. If someone is that great I say keep them alive "By any means necessary."

In the first place, you can't remember a memory. Youremember wsomething. Or you have a memory of something. But remembering a memory is redundant.

... I don't know what to say ...
It seems already as perfect as it can become, I see nothing that can be changed in any way.

thankyou!
Beauty in simplicity. It reminds me of the song "For A Dancer," by Jackson Browne. This could have easily been very 'Hallmark,' but don't worry, it wasn't. The meter was clearly defined which is a must for a piece like this. All in all, very good work. I wouldn't change a thing.
