A fish in a Hook

A fish in a Hook

A Poem by Ellen Mary

what once was lost isn't so anymore
the misplaced has been replaced
with the same face
with a different taste

dillusions of indifference fueled by a worthy distraction
are realized for their faulty
when reality seeps its way into the poor confused and lonely gardener

who shouldnt f**k around with the wrong flowers
