Teddy Teddy

Teddy Teddy

A Poem by Ellen Mary

Its like I'm
in a crowded room
with all of my greatest friends, and I don't know who to speak with first
so many stories to share
laughter to be had
hugs and kisses to give
where do I start?

I feel like an eager little kiddy in a candy shop, not knowing just how to begin

My eyes are so open
And really
I just have so many things to do
A, B, C, D, E
To Z
To AB, AC, AD...AABBCC!
Too many options to keep track of

What im realy trying to say is...
What if you don't want to take one step at a time

What if all you want to do is leap forward
Head first

Before I die
I want all of my dreams
And all of my fantasies to have been realized

How much can you stuff a teddy bear before it explodes?
...in the good way!?

" I'm just a dog chasing cars, I wouldn't know what to do if I caught one."
That saying you may or may not know. It's by The Joker. But what I am getting at is it reminds me of you. You just seem so eager in this poem. And being the reader we can feel it to. I feel like I have to do something impulsive now, like go sky diving. ( which I want to do anyways )
