This one was highly needed to lift falling spirit, the one I always thought stood tall...words of your are pure form of magic and help millions to wake up their dying souls...you surprise me with your wisdom and wit, such an honest write I was lost and feeling your concern people in need. The world make fun when they see name of Jesus and this is something which kill me inside, such people need to go and travel the world to understand the 'Truth'. Nothing is more honest than the love of our Lord Jesus and his teaching. All the wisdom one can have is from his wonderful guidance love and messages. One of the finest work, I have read on W/C, God bless you my friend and keep creating the magic. Epic!

And Jesus said, "Who is the one who touched Me?" And while they were all denying it, Peter said, "Master, the people are crowding and pressing in on You." 46 But Jesus said, "Someone did touch Me, for I was aware that power had gone out of Me." 47 When the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came trembling and fell down before Him, and declared in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched Him, and how she had been immediately healed. 48 And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace." Faith had already healed the woman but acknowledging the gift of power from Him bought her peace as well. It was not that the Lord needed her recognition but that she needed gratitude and humility. We often forget how being thankful and humble can bring our spirits peace. This was a wonderful write.
Great poem. I like the line "it's impossible to understand this 'til you start to walk in his shoes". So very true. I love the imagery, the truth, and the emotion you've put into this piece.
Thanks for sharing :)
I love this, Ellen! I guess I never really thought about the fact that trying to walk in Jesus' footsteps is draining...but come to think of it, it is. I really liked the last two stanzas, and the last two lines. A beautiful poem.
This is a beautiful and truthful write as it glorifies him and the works he has done. A great tribute to Our lord and provider, Put in a manner even we as human can relate too.
