Grief

Written to express the Grief I felt of loosing my Mum

Gone is the summer sunshine
It don't shine so bright anymore

Gone is the cheery happiness
It don't greet me anymore

Yes I have a laugh and a giggle
But then I cry to
All the memories come flooding back
The times that contained me and you

Now there's only me
But you're in my heart I know
You're up there with the angels
Helping me as I grow.

You may have been taken
And that may have caused so much pain

But one day
We will be re-united again.
