Ernest Everhard

Ernest Everhard

A Poem by Ella
"

Inspired by "The Iron Heel" by Jack London.

"

Ernest Everhard

was never bored.

He was a rebel.

He was determined not to be ignored.

He woke up the masses.

Though some didn’t heed his passes.

He thought freely.

Though some deemed this heresy.

Ernest Everhard.

A lover and a hero.

Balancing his life as a delicate eagle.

The masses rose up.

The masses woke up.

Ernest Everhard did what was just.

Ernest Everhard did what was right.

Ernest Everhard did what he must.
