Tears

Tears

A Poem by Elizabeth La
"

You'll get the gist of it when you read it.

"

Tears are not the emblem of suffering,

Because there is more beneath the surface than the tears you dispense.

You are beneath the tears. You are beneath the mind of suffering.

That these tears are a creation of their own. And we do not choose to cry.

Your tears will not build you.

And your pains, well, they’re merely that.

Crossroads between growth and failure.

Whichever you choose,

But your tears will not be the one to decide for you.

You will decide that for you.

Oh my god, this is truely one remarkable piece!
I love the emotion around this poem and how it really speaks the truth
sometimes we cry because we feel happy, not necersarly for something sad
I love this poem, great work!
