I Promise

I Promise

A Story by Elizabeth Thief
"

A short story I wrote when I became inspired by a picture I got in a text message.

"

I promise to always hold your hand.

I promise to always wrap an arm around your waist when you're nervous.

I promise I'll be a shoulder to cry on, but never the reason why you're crying.

I promise to always make sure you're happy.

I promise to kiss you softly.

I promise to hold you tightly.

I promise I'll always be there for you.

I promise to love you always.

Forever and Forever

This usually isnt my style and I prefer more dark forms of love but for some reason this one is just too sweet to deny that fuzzy feeling I got in my chest. Are not these the things the person you love tends not to tell you? That's probably why I liked it so much because although some might call it to warm to handle, these are the things you wish your love told you. Simple and to the point. Well done, you have converted me to fuzzy warm feelings.
