Truth Dealing

Truth Dealing

A Poem by Elizabeth

I was walking down the street
I tripped on my feet
It was then I realized my guilt was too much
For me to keep
I need to leap forward in time
not backwards
Thats a self destructive crime
People ask me whats wrong
I say nothing and that im fine
Why are people scared to share there feelings
There as sneaky as illegal dealings
If you ease drop they punish you
Just as if you were stealing
You cant be scared anymore
To say what you are feeling
Dont hide from the truth
No knealing
Stand up and face the truth
Climb a mountain
Regain your youth
Time for a change
Dont sit around and do nothing
That is just lame

I admire the honesty in this. I'm not sure it was meant to be, but some of the rhymes were slightly comic in nature to me.

really lovely! the message is beautiful, and the rhythm and flow makes it very inspiring and you feel compelled to take your advice and go and change things!

Very truthful. You couldn't have put it better if it took you a millennium.
