The Flow of Love

The Flow of Love

A Poem by Elizabeth Porterfield

Love comes

And it goes

It ebbs

And it flows

We ride the tides

Inspired by the everchanging moon

What is the nature of my true aspect

What clarifies me

Or the love I choose to give

As human

Or of human origin

What empowers you

To judge me or my life or my ways

We were made to love

And be loved

Not to hate or to fear or to judge

We were made to wonder

To question all but the Unquestionable

To stand in awe at the beauty

Of the world around us

To go with the flow of love
