Erase

Erase

A Poem by Elizabeth Porterfield
"

A rambling thought

"

A laugh

A tear

The sting of the blade

Another

Trip

To memories glade

The rain pours down

The sun shines through

I hide from it in the shade

Another day

Another dollar

A whispered melody

An unheard holler

An echo of time

Suspended in space

Another new memory

To be erased

I really like the flow in this, though it is short it really does seem very deep. though i admit i am not sure where the new memory comes from when in my opinion it sounds more like an old memory remembered. Either way I really enjoyed this, Thank You :)
