Forbidden

I wrote this while looking up the meanings of german words in a book I'm reading. The words were himmel, verboten, elend, schweigen, nachtraurn, and angst. See if you can guess what means what.

Heaven is forbidden to me

I know only

Misery

Silence

Fear

Regret

I long for

Forgiveness

Happiness

Love

Freedom

For a home beyond this life

Beyond this mortal existence

Beyond death

I got most of them from the book, The Book Thief by Mark Zusak. It's a really good book and if you haven't read it you should. The rest I got while playing around with Google translate:)
