Red

Red

A Poem by Evie
"

My attempt at describing the colour red as a person. Enjoy, loves! xo Evie.

"
R E D
That Red,
bossy, always on top of the others,
self-centered, jealous.
She throws punches,
that Red,
big, fat punches.
When she speaks it's best to step away,
because she spits the juice
of bitter cranberries,
and speaks the words of a
rotting pomegranite.
That Red,
always showy,
and looking for attention.
I wish she would quiet down
for a while
and not be so . . .
red.

I like it. Is it meant to personify just the color red or an attribute of an actual person?
