SUN rays shine gaily through the blinds,

Tantalizing MY eyes,

Burning brightly THROUGH the falsehoods

Which I truly DESPISE.

How can something so sweet and PURE

REVEAL snakes in their bed

Who live as they feed upon FEARS

THAT are real in my head?
