19 Years , One RegretA Poem by EliseAmateur poetry written about a male friend who passed away. Aged fourteen and not a clue of the poetry scene. Please give feedback. Thank you.19 Years, One Regret The river ran so cold 19 years and nobody to celebrate Blue eyes and brown hair Burried beneath the darker ground.
Silent wishes I could hear them Whispers shouts doesn't matter what I do You won't return Life was short 19 years and nobody to celebrate Burried beneath the darker ground.
People telling melies Annoying me Wanting to scream To tell them where to get off No I stopped; I watched, I saw you die.
I say you lye there I was angry Now you're gone, never to return again I don't know what happened I never will A teardrop fell from my face I watched it fall into my skin Like you fell into the ground.
The river ran so cold One year and nobody care's 19 years and nobody to celebrate Blue eyes and brown hair Burried beneath the darker ground The darker ground, Will stay.
