Portugal

This is my first post on the book "Culture around the world". I choose Portugal because I'm portuguese and I wanted to start this book with my country.

Portugal is a country from south Europe. This country's weather is pleasent, bathed by the Atlantic ocean, west and south continental territory. Portugal has beautiful beaches and wonderful montains, this country has a famous gastronomy in the whole world.
Portugal makes good wines, exported to over 90 countries, the mature wine and the Porto wine, produced in the region of Douro vineyard, have very strong qualities. This wines are apreciate especially by the British.
Portugal as a diverse culture. It is divided between folklore, bullfighting, sport etc. The football player Cristiano Ronaldo is known worldwide and he is portuguese.
