The Bride

 

I met the most beautiful woman at a funeral. Not the best place or time to spark romance but I was mesmerized the moment I laid eyes upon her. We dated for a couple of weeks, I was enchanted by her. She was perfect, everything a man could want.

 I finally brought her over to introduce her to my folks but the strangest thing happened. Not only did they reject her presence but refused to even look in my direction, it was like talking to walls!

Yes, it is amusing. And quite brilliant. I was tricked, because the beginning sounded like any other romance story. But then, when I got at the end the lightbulb above my heat lit up - ah, so this story is not what it seems. Great turn of events, Eliot:))

Oh! Amazing and unpredictable! Due to the tagline it was easy to predict that the woman might be a ghost but the narrator himself!!
