Untitled (Unfinished)

Untitled (Unfinished)

A Poem by Elinor Williams
"

I wrote this very quickly last night on my phone and it feels unfinished. May finish it, but I like leaving something like this because it feels like a rough thought process.

"
A palm of paths,
two you choose.
My head and heart
closer to honesty than abuse.
Youth trapped inside
the heads of monsters.
Who am I scared of?
The truth or the youngsters?
The new, the fresh
and the fragmented generation.
Clever enough to be dangerous,
Naive enough to be poison.
A Suicide of spite,
but protected by your lies.
You spit your venom
and chew on our insides.

It almost feels like the young eating the mother...not sure to be honest.

Many lines in the poem could be the title.
"Who am I scared of?
The truth or the youngsters?
The new, the fresh
and the fragmented generation."
Some questions must be answered by time and life. The poem left the reader desiring more. Thank you for sharing the poem.
