A love you may never see

A love you may never see

A Poem by Elin Luna

I try to deny and defy
This feeling of mine

I hate in order to get away
But your gravity's to strong

Every time i try to run
I'll rebound to this feeling of mine

I built a wall to distance myself
But your smile easily made it fade away

I'm caught in your honest eyes
Desperately trying to get away

You know nothing about this secret of mine
Will I ever tell you I wonder

And if i really do
Would my love for you ever come true

Would you stay
Or simply just walk away

This piece has a nice meter, except that 3 line stanza. A lovely use of imagery, of the torment and ecstasy, the loneliness and longing, the fear and the hope of secret love.
