KentuckyA Poem by ElijahNatureDaniel Boone first to explore the wilderness, the wild boar Buffalo roamed wildly among the grass and wooded tree Indians i'm sad to say were killed and murdered day by day Kentucky is such a great place to farm, hunt, and even horse race We grow lots of tobacco, corn, and wheat what other state is there to beat Tennessee can not compete with the Bourbon balls that are oh so sweet Delaware has not a chance with the hillbilly culture and old square dance We love to camp it's a great thing we sit around the fire and sing I'm proud to live in Kentucky where the grass is blue what a site to see.
