Spring.

Spring.

A Poem by Elie Marie

These are the times
These are the days
When the sun is out
When the grass is green,
the daffodils are showing their best yellows,
and the dogs are chasing the birds.
These are the days.
When the sun is out.
When I can breathe.
When I can breathe.
I can smiles
and laugh.
These are the days.
When the sun is out.
When I am smiling and laughing
When I can remember
there is life
what looked dead was never dead
the daffodils are blooming
and as am I.
These are the days.
When the sun is out.
When the daffodils are blooming.
And I too, can renew myself
laugh again,
and love again
These are the days.

This is the embodiment of you releasing yourself of care. Thank you for a beautiful piece as this! It is innocent and beautiful and delicate as to the flowers you mention often. Well done.
