the blacknessA Poem by Elie Marie
I've tried so hard.
I've come so far. Crossing the equator changing continents hopping across ponds searching, running running always running... always searching... but it's never enough, is it? the blackness still finds it's way the thought of bubbles twirling of endless sea green and ocean blue still so inviting. My veins bleed red my veins bleed blue and greens and purples My veins bleed words and hurts and hopes My eyes light up at the sounds of saving you and you and you. My eyes light up it pushes the sadness away. But the blackness, it still seeps in. still finds its way. drowning drowning drowning me. what I do whatever I do... it's never quite enough.
