An artist's heart

You need someone that has

love 

breaking them open

someone that understands

the deepness of the darkness

and why the sunflower always follows the sun

someone that understands

what comes with the highs and lows.

Someone that has paint and words 

exploding out of their veins

that needs art,

like they need air,

to keep alive.

You need someone that understands

the highs and lows that come

with the kind of heart we have

Because then,

your heart will have a mate

your heart will have acceptance,

learn to love itself.

Your heart will have stability.

loving and expressing art are so much easier than finding a mate eh!? and falling in love with art is less painful ;) but darn if most simply need someone :( .. someone that completes a part of us otherwise empty ... great thoughts this morning .. thank you for sharing them!
