I started hormone therapy, this is a promise to my future self

is some beginning's end;

this feeling of living

means I’m beginning to mend.

The new unexpected.

So close but so far,

yet our souls connected.

I can hear it in my heart,

This is definitely a start

to the place I belong.

You deserve the world,

Well it’s already mine.

Everything life’s hurled,

Is starting to align.

It seems easier now,

to withstand the pain.
