In My Mind

Just some thoughts.

I'm standing across from you in admiration.

Your laugh, your smile, your eyes, everything about you makes my heart flutter.

Then I have to come back into reality.

I can't be with you because I can never tell you how I feel.

I have to put on my mask of safety and relief.

To step into the reality of my situation is to step into two different worlds.

Their world is happy and free, flowers of chances grow all over the fields,

sun rays of possibility and superiority beam down on them.

My world is filled of secrets, dark and gloomy, fog of mystery everywhere.

And an ocean of what's inside, rapid and rough, filled with sealed glass bottles floating all throughout it.

To cross the two worlds is nearly impossible,

but there is very little I wouldn't give to try.

But as of right now all I can do is dream.

Dream that somehow, someway, I can be with you.

Somehow, someway, you might actually feel the same way I do.

I hope this can be more than just a dream...
